Formed in 2004, Boston Logic is an online marketing and technology firm focused on the real estate industry. We provide software, online marketing, and design services to real estate companies, helping them market their listings and services, hire new agents, and operate their businesses. Boston Logic works with real estate developers, brokers, and agents to help them grow and succeed by leveraging technology and the web.
Boston Logic is made up of 3 teams working together:
- The Boston Logic Marketing team strategically plans and executes online marketing campaigns incorporating search engine optimization, PPC and PPM, and email marketing.
- Boston Logic's Web Design team creates and improves user interfaces for our customers' websites and our software platforms.
- Boston Logic's Development team works to build and maintain Boston Logic's Sequoia Platform. Highly skilled in Ruby and the Rails framework, our development team is constantly pushing the leading edge of technology for real estate. Our development team is constantly building new features and functionality for our clients.
Working together and under the watchful eye of professional project management, Boston Logic produces superior results for our clients.
At Boston Logic, we believe that marketing and technology must be conceived and developed together. David Friedman
President & Founder ( Contact David )
David began his career in marketing while he was still in college, working for Red Bull Energy Drink shortly after their east coast launch and with The Seedling Group as a campus consultant. Upon completing a Bachelors and Masters of Science in mechanical engineering from Tufts University, David launched Boston Logic, Inc. and focused his attention on web-based communication technologies. Soon after he launched Friedman LLP, a real estate investment partnership focused on the Boston market, which outperformed projections upon liquidation in 2005. In late 2004, David founded Boston Logic Technology Partners, Inc.
Today, David serves as Boston Logic's President and has led the company through 10 consecutive quarters of growth. He oversees all business development including managing the sales team. David also plays a key role in strategic consulting engagements for marketing and technology projects. Acting as product manager for many of Boston Logic's products and services, David is involved in defining, pricing, and marketing Boston Logic's offerings.
In his spare time, David is hard to find as he is usually outdoors skiing, rock climbing, hiking, cycling or playing softball, racquetball, ultimate frisbee or kickball.
Sebastian Zapisek
Creative Director ( Contact Sebastian )
Sebastian joined Boston Logic in January of 2006. Sebastian is responsible for the web design and site building aspects of our client engagements. Prior to joining the team, Sebastian held the position of lead web designer at Entertainment Image Consultants, a Manhattan based web design studio.
Sebastian graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in History and Anthropology.
Outside of work, he enjoys photography, foreign and independent film, and also pursues an interest in web standards compliant CSS designs.

Tom Cocca
Chief Architect ( Contact Tom )
Tom joined Boston Logic in June of 2007 and is responsible for developing the code and databases that drive Boston Logic's dynamic websites. His main focus and experience in development is working with open source technology.
He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY where he received a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Communications and Networks Engineering.
In his free time Tom enjoys catching Red Sox games at Fenway Park, spending time with his family and friends, snowshoeing, skiing, camping and other outdoor sports.
Jason Vanderhoof
Web Developer ( Contact Jason )
Jason rejoined the Boston Logic team in May 2009 after working with Java and Documentum in the document management space. He is responsible for helping to build and maintain the wide variety of applications that Boston Logic develops. He's a strong supporter of all things Ruby and open source development.
As one of the early members of Boston Logic, Jason helped develop a suite of tools around property search and lead management, as well as a wide variety of client projects.
His favorite flavor of ice cream is: Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip
Favorite childhood birthday present: "A homemade workbench, plus a bunch of tools. I got to make all kinds of neat things."
One thing you don't know about Jason: he's lived in every time zone in the US
Nate LeBlanc

Nate joined Boston Logic in May of 2011. His primary responsibilities include SEO campaign management, tracking and analyzing SEO and PPC campaign progress, and content generation for Boston Logic clients.
He is a 2011 Business Management graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a focus in Marketing and the arts of Social Media.
Prior to joining Boston Logic and achieving his higher education, Nate enlisted into the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18, serving his country for six years and participating in operations across the globe.
In his free time, Nate enjoys reading military history, conquering the great outdoors, traveling to exotic places, marksmanship, listening to classical music – Bach, Chopin or Mozart – scuba diving, and modifying his Jeep with a near border-line obsession!

David Farnham
Account Executive ( Contact David )
David joined the sales team here at Boston Logic in December of 2011. David works with real estate companies nationwide who are serious about search engine placement, getting more IDX leads, and using social media to leverage the full potential of the web. He enjoys and prides himself on helping his clients to successfully brand their companies, generate leads, and close new business through online marketing.
David earned a degree in marketing at the University of Vermont. He first worked for a local pharmaceutical company as a sales executive, but soon moved to Massachusetts to be with his family. Upon coming to the Boston area, he took a position at AT&T selling business-to-business telephone and Internet service solutions. This led to a similar position with Verizon, where David remained until joining the Boston Logic sales team.
David loves to go fishing, hit the gym, and spend time with his family. Growing up in Vermont, he became an avid skier and snowboarder, and tries to spend as much time on the mountains as possible. He also enjoys cooking new and different foods from cultures around the world.

Jim Healey
Associate Support Specialist ( Contact Jim )
Before working at Boston Logic, Jim managed and booked a rock club (O'Brien's Pub) in Allston for 5 years. Before that, he was the Tech Support Manager of Cakewalk Software for about 5 years as well. He is a musician who plays out regularly.
Jim grew up in Dorchester and still live there with his wife and two dogs. When not working or playing music, he enjoy video games, cooking and catching up on whatever Netflix his wife and he are watching at the time.
